Description

The horizontal apparatus GEE with elliptical heads are used for the storage of liquids, gases and gaseous fluids under pressure. In this case, the flange connections are designed for a pressure of at least 1.6 MPa.

They can be used with liquids that have highly corrosive characteristics. For this purpose, the shells and heads are treated with reinforced anticorrosive protective coatings, and also exposed to thermal treatment.

The Saratov Reservoir Plant has the necessary Certificates of Conformity for the production of vessels for various purposes.

We produce horizontal apparatus GEE from several steel grade, depending on the at the Сustomer's request, the properties of the stored product and the operating conditions.

Operating conditions of horizontal vessels with elliptical heads

They can operate at a nominal pressure of 0.6 MPa, 1.0 MPa and 1.6 MPa.

The density of the operational product should not exceed 1600 kg/m3. Seismicity should not exceed 7 points when calculating the seismicity of all active loads. (see SP 14.13330.2011 "Construction in seismic regions. Revised edition of SNiP II-7-81")

Construction and installation of horizontal vessels GEE

Our plant produces horizontal apparatus GEE with a volume of 6.3 m3, 8 m3, 10 m3, 16 m3, 25 m3, 40 m3, 50 m3, 63 m3, 80 m3, 100 m3. The diameter of the shells varies from 1.6 m to 3 m.

Their feature is two elliptical heads. The housing is a cylindrical all-welded metal structure with a hatch and fittings for receiving and dispensing the stored product, and installation of technological tank equipment. All-welded construction has an increased strength.

Mounting of horizontal apparatus GEE is carried out only above the ground on metal leg supports, saddle supports or lug supports.

Working product drain can be carried out in two ways:

  • by gravity without applying additional influence on the fluid
  • under the influence of gas or compressed air
