31 August 2017
Two underground single-wall vessels for storage of liquefied petroleum gas with a volume of 50 m3 were manufactured at the Saratov Reservoir Plant. Code name: SUG 50-1,6-2400-P1 - with a volume of 50 m3, pressure 1.6 MPa, the diameter 2400 mm, underground, single-wall.
The object of operation is a manufacturing enterprise in the Moscow region.
The vessels are made of steel 09G2S, which corresponds to the group of the vessel (1), group and category of explosive mixture (IIA-T3), as well as meet the operating requirements.
When calculating of shell and bottoms thickness corrosion allowance (1 mm) was taken into account. Thus the shell and bottom thickness is 12 mm.
Overall dimensions of the vessels with a volume of 50 m3: diameter 2400 mm, length 11164 mm, width 2542 mm, height 3332 m.
Technical characteristics of underground vessels for LPG
- the density of the oparating product - up to 0.571 kg/m3
- working pressure - 1.6 MPa
- operating temperature - from -40ºC to +45ºC
- without heat treatment
- service life - 20 years
External waterproofing is made of bitumen and bitumen-polymer primer (1 layer) and waterproofing rolled material Technoelast.
In the housing there are manhole, branch pipes and fittings designed for the product inlet and outlet, LPG vapour phase outlet, drainage, as well as the level gauge, safety valve and pressure gauge, etc.
