The main feature of the last project is the construction in adverse climatic conditions: with a long cold winter and a short hot summer. Due to the quality high level of the work performed, the SARRZ Plant was able to establish partnership relations with the Customer and deliver the project in accordance with the approved technical specifications for execution of works.
Main specifications:
- Stored product - diesel fuel and water;
- VST amount - 1 pcs with a capacity of 2000 m3, 2 pcs with a capacity of 1000 m3 each;
- Material - 09G2S;
- Erection procedure - Roll method.
Specific features and complexities of the project
The key feature of the end project was the environmental conditions with a long cold winter and a short hot summer. Site Supervision was carried out in the winter season, which is characterized by low ambient temperature and a pronounced markedly continental climate.
Due to the high significance of the facility, it was necessary to execute all the construction work in a short time: design, manufacture, delivery, erection supervision work, hydraulic testing and non-destructive testing of structures and anti-corrosion protection took 10 months.
The work was carried out at a considerable distance from the human settlements.
The Engineering department of the Saratov Reservoir Plant carried out work in the supply of VST, namely:
- development of Detailed Engineering Design (KM project);
- manufacture of vertical steel tank;
- delivery by road;
- construction and assembly work and Site Supervision;
- hydraulic testing and NDT inspection;
- anticorrosive coating application on external and internal surfaces of tanks (AntikorKhim - 3 layers).
